I need to write a short story for an assignment that fills a gap or silence of the original story. It says I need to focus on one character and their experiences in order to extend or enhance the audience's understanding of how events of the novel have influenced the construction of their identity. The draft is due in two days and I only just moved schools over a week ago so I haven't even. For example: Miss Smith is the second girl to be reported missing this week. She was last seen hitch-hiking along a city street late on Monday evening. Police have issued a warning to young girls not to go out alone at night. SILENCES Places where the text keeps silent or makes.

Good Example: Intentional Silence Allows Participants to Process Their Thoughts. In the next clip, rather than fill the silence when the participant struggles for a few seconds to find the right words, the interviewer uses intentional silence to allow the participant time to gather his thoughts.   There's a scene that an editor might call unnecessary in my current book. It acts as a beat of "silence" between an emotion climax, which is immediately followed by an action climax, which, without the beat of silence, would be followed immediately by a betrayal. The scene does nothing to move the story forward.

Give this a try: next time you encounter an “awkward silence”, do not try and fill it. It may seem awkward at first, and maybe you will decide that small talk is much better than saying nothing at all. More likely, though, you will realize that it is far more comfortable to let the conversation end than draw it . Silence (沈黙, Chinmoku) is a novel of theological fiction by Japanese author Shūsaku Endō, published in English by Peter Owen is the story of a Jesuit missionary sent to 17th century Japan, who endures persecution in the time of Kakure Kirishitan ("Hidden Christians") that followed the defeat of the Shimabara recipient of the Tanizaki Prize, it has.
